Pri provides psychological counselling around the Mornington Peninsula, to children (aged 4+), adults and families. She is trained in various psychological approaches including (but not limited to) play therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma-informed care, solution-focused brief therapy, and family therapy. Pri uses a systemic approach to working with her clients, which has its roots in family systems therapy.

 

Counselling for Adults

Pri provides therapy to individuals and couples. She focuses on enabling adults to enhance their sense of self, and transform their relationship with self, and others. Some of the referrals she receives are:

Supervision for professionals

As a psychologist with a passion for making a difference in the lives of people, Pri is offering board-approved supervision services that will enhance your abilities, and help you reach your full potential.  These services of supervision are open to provisional psychologists, early/ mid-career psychologists, social workers, family counsellors, counsellors and other allied health workers working in mental health. Counselling for Children and Young people

Pri is an experienced practitioner providing counselling to children aged four years and above, primarily using play therapy with younger children and a combination of play and evidence-based psychological therapy with older children and adolescents. Using a systemic approach, Pri engages and collaborates with parents, schools, and other professionals in supporting the needs of the child. Pri encourages parents to be involved in their child’s counselling and encourages joint-parental consent. Some of the common referrals she receives are:

Fees & Rebates:

Rewire Psychology in Mornington is a private billing practice and provides services under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. Our fees are determined by viewing recommendations from the The Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. Please note, each year in July we have an increase in fee. The medicare rebate you receive for a standard consult is $93.35. Medicare does not cover relationship and couples counselling. Additional fees apply for consultations outside our rooms and telephone consults.

Initial appointments and family sessions (90mins) $270

Ongoing standard consultation for an individual session (50mins) $200

Relationship/couples counselling (50mins during work hours) $220

Evening consultations (50mins) $220

Evening consultations for couples (50mins) $250

Cancellations:

We understand from time to time you may need to change your appointment times. We provide you a courtesy sms reminder a few days prior to your appointment, however we still expect you to remember your appointments. Please note due to limited appointments, missed appointments and late cancellations (less than 72hrs notice) you will be subject to a cancellation fee. This charge cannot be claimed via private health insurance or medicare.
